Question: Quotes to ”The Book Theif”?
I have some quotes from the book, “the book theif” and my sister and I are both trying to compete to figure out who can get the most , so here are some.
1. I will never fire a gun. I will rule with words.
2. Even death has a heart
3.you want to know what i truly look like? i’ll help you out. Find yourself a mirror while i continue.
4.sometimes i imagined how everything looked above those clouds, knowing withought question that the sun was blond, and the endless atmosphere was a giant blue eye.
5.mystery bores me. it chores me. I know what happens and so do you. It’s the machinations that wheel us there that aggravate, perplex, intrest, and astound me.
6. Did they deserve any better, those people? How many actively persectued others, high on the scent of hitler’s gaze, repeating his sentences, his paragraphs, his opus? was rosa hubermann responsible? the hider of a jew? or hans? did they all deserve to die? the children?

Answer:

Answer by Irving
She leaned down and looked at his lifeless face and Liesel kissed her best friend, Rudy Steiner, soft and true on his lips. He tasted dusty and sweet. He tasted like the regret in the shadows of trees and in the glow of the anarchist’s suit collection. She kissed him long and soft, and when she pulled herself away, she touched his mouth with her fingers. Her hands were trembling, her lips were fleshy, and she leaned in once more, this time losing control and misjudging it. Their teeth collided on the demolished world of Himmel Street.

How about a kiss, Saumensch?

He stood in the waist-deep in the water for a few moments longer before climbing out and handing her the book. His trousers clung to him, and he did not stop walking. In truth, I think he was afraid. Rudy Steiner was scared of the book thief’s kiss. He must have longed for it so much. He must have loved her so incredibly hard. So hard that he would never as for her lips again, and would go to his grave without them.

The day was gray, the color of Europe.

Question: Have you read the book “It”?
I wanted a scary book so I got it. I usually like books with ghosts and like a mystery and stuff so I don’t think I really picked a great book. I’ve read the first chapter but idk if I should read the rest because it’s a little freaky. I’ve never seen the movie either but I know it’s about a clown. If u have read any mystery or something kind of scary that u really liked please tell me! And if u have read “It” was it good? Everyone that did a reveiw said theyloved it but idk…
