ReadAloud at The Ohio State University: February 10, 2011 A Valentine Day’s presentation featuring three Ohioana romance authors reading from their own works. Leanna Renee Hieber- Rural Ohio native turned New York actress Leanna Renee Hieber won a pair of Prism Awards for her first novel, a Gothic Victorian paranormal romance titled The Strangely Beautiful Tale of Miss Percy Parker. She continues work on a series of Strangely Beautiful novels, and has penned several novellas and one-act plays. Susan Gee Heino – Historical romance novels are the forte of rural Ohio preacher’s wife and mom Susan Gee Heino. She received the Romance Writers of America’s Golden Heart Award in the Regency Historical category for Mistress By Mistake. Her latest book, Temptress in Training, is due out in July. Elysa Hendricks – Central Ohio author Elysa Hendricks specializes in romance novels with a paranormal bent. Recent titles include Star Raiders, The Sword and the Pen, and Star Crash.
