Question: My question is about the various heights of the Giza Pyramid blocks…?
I think the answer can be found in the book “the Orion Mystery”, but I no longer have that book.
My question concerns the fact that at a given level of say the Khufu or Chephren pyramid the blocks are all the same height, but the heights vary considerably depending on what level you are at.
How many times do these levels vary? And do the levels correspond measurably between the Chephren pyramid and Khufu pyramid ?(if not then we know they were not constructed at the same time, if so then they were constructed at the same time). Finally (and this number is probably different) how many levels for each pyramid regardless of block height; for example pertaining to the first question if level 20 and 21 have block the same height then they are considered one level….?

The number will tell me the probable number of years it took to build the pyramids. I do not believe Herodotus’ 20 year information.

I read “Pyramids” by Davidovitz, which is excellent. I’m trying to track down a copy in a bookstore. “Orion Mystery” should have information as well.

I read it and it was amazing! Definatly a book you should read. I would say its more for young adults but its a good read!

although i haven’t read this book my self my friend has been after me for agers to!
he claims it’s the best book he has read and he reads alot of books
so i guess that would be a 10 ~
as for the romance element bot all good books have it,,, some of my favourite books are just adventure or comedy without any romance in the main plot
usually though authors include alittle romance even if it isn’t the main character or a major part of the story
i have read a few of Robin Hobb’s other books and she is a brilliant writer so you can’y go wrong if you try this book out
and if you end up loving it let me know so i can read it =p
