Harry Potter. What do you think is the importance of the US cover for the 7th book?
Question: Harry Potter. What do you think is the importance of the US cover for the 7th book?
I think it fits this description. (in the Department of Mysteries Death Room)
“This room was larger than the last, dimly lit and rectangular, and the center of it was sunken, forming a great stone pit some twenty feet below them. They were standing on the topmost tier of what seemed to be stone benches running all around the room and desending in steep steps like an amphitheater, or the courtroopm in which Harry had been tried by the Wizengamot. Instead of a chained chair, however, there was a raised stone dias in the center of the lowered floor, and pon the dias stood a stone archway that looked so ancient, cracked, and crumbling that Harry was amazed the thing was still standing. Unsupported by any surrounding wall, the archway was hung with a tattered black curtain or veil”
I think the art is of importance, as it’s a scene from the book “We’re seeing Harry in a very interesting situation. Readers will find out exactly what the situation is.” Arthur Levine, US Potter editor

Romance Novel Cover Art – Your Suggestions?
Question: Romance Novel Cover Art – Your Suggestions?
I’m a photographer and I have a model that is interested in doing some shots she described as “romance novel” type shots. This would be with her boyfriend.
She wants them to be a little sexy, nothing showing but somewhat suggestive (boyfriend with open shirt kind of thing).
Would anyone have some suggested authors (or even better, a specific book) that I can research and come up with some ideas?
Thanks!!

The apple definitely represents the forbidden fruit, but I don’t think its clear which one (Bella or Edward) is the forbidden fruit. In fact, I think one of the fantastic parts of the story, is that they are both bad for each other- they are both forbidden to one another.
There is a part where Bella fiddles with the apple while she first starts talking to Edward at lunch.. where shes trying to figure out what he is… you probably remember the awkward yet brillant theme.
Stephenie Meyers words:
The apple on the cover of Twilight represents “forbidden fruit.” I used the scripture from Genesis (located just after the table of contents) because I loved the phrase “the fruit of the knowledge of good and evil.” Isn’t this exactly what Bella ends up with? A working knowledge of what good is, and what evil is. The nice thing about the apple is it has so many symbolic roots. You’ve got the apple in Snow White, one bite and you’re frozen forever in a state of not-quite-death… Then you have Paris and the golden apple in Greek mythology—look how much trouble that started. Apples are quite the versatile fruit. In the end, I love the beautiful simplicity of the picture. To me it says: choice.
Why was the cover removed from the “book” upon which Obama was sworn into office?
Question: Why was the cover removed from the “book” upon which Obama was sworn into office?
Where is this book now? The other senator who used the Quran, it had a lineage, it becomes an important item after it is used in a swearing-in.
So where is Obama’s “mystery coverless book” now?
born of a Muslim father = automatic Muslim unless he renounces Islam which he has not done and if he did he’d have a fatwah on his head and prove he’s been a liar about those 26 years unaccounted for in his religious past
PLUS he was a devout Muslim in Indonesia and even learned the Quran in Arabic
do not be so stupid, he knew he could not vie for presidency as a professed Muslim
The Indonesian imprinting of the title of his book audacity is “Jihad: From Jakarta To The White House”
the muslim world knows exactly who obama is and what he’s doing
