Question: Does the novel “A drifter’s love” relate to today’s time with the recession we’re having?
Hi,

I recently published my first romance novel “A drifter’s love” and I‘m looking for some helpful feedback before the final draft goes into print. It’s a historical romance, with a classical theme. Taking place during the great depression, it’s a love story about a drifting veteran, and a struggling widow who helps him make a mends with his past. A journey that takes him halfway across the country and back, just in time to rescue her.

I’ve posted about ten chapters online to be reviewed. So if you have a bit of time, can you read a few chapters and leave some feedback?

Thank you in advanced!

Relate = Make a logical or causal connection
Causal if not logical –
I am a developmental/research/line editor—-

The recession of today has not reached the severe levels equal to the Great Depression, the time line today is not yet as long as before. After WWI the recession was begun and with the returning veterans intensified rapidly. People of that time had so few resources of any nature, the depression ripened and rotted quickly.

Your book will stand on your depiction with words you provide. Good luck with the book.
