Question: I want to write a vampire book but i need a plot.?
Now im pretty sure you all know the three main vampire movies/programmes & novels. “Trueblood” my favourite & “The Vampire Diaries” & “Twilight saga” The not so favourite. But i reckon if you mixed them all together they would make a pretty good vampire book or series even. But what would be a good plot with the mysteries and killings like “Trueblood” The curses and hystorial times like “The vampire diaries” & the romance like “Twlight saga.
Just help me please come up with a good plot or you could mix it up a little. Thanks

i plan to write a light novel format book but i have japanese charactor names and it takes place in a japanse fictional town. im just afraid of the criticism i would recieve because im not japanese. the novel is a romance/comedy/drama/supernatural with at least 11 different charactors and alternating points of view from the first five charactors (most likely this will change) i really love anime and light novels and that is why the charactors have japanese names. am i allowed to do this?

Why not? Many people use names from ancient Greece or Sparta, or even England on their novel.
If your novel takes place in Japan no one is gonna be stupid enough to criticize you just because your not a Japanese and lose their credibility.
As long as you do your research and know their culture and daily behaviors you can write anything you want.
